Sascha Avermiddig is co-founder and managing partner of GSI Software GmbH, based in Berlin. With over ten years of international experience in business development, financial management and strategic marketing, he specializes in digital transformation in the construction and engineering industry.
As co-initiator of the Piledesigner.io platform, he has been working with Dr.-Ing. Ingo Hylla since 2025 to make pile design more efficient, transparent and sustainable using cloud-based tools.
Dr.-Ing. Ingo Hylla is a civil engineer specializing in foundation engineering. Since 2010, he has been working intensively on the design and optimization of foundations, particularly in the field of pile foundations.
In 2016, he founded his own company, with which he develops innovative methods and specialized software solutions for the design of piles. His tools are used in challenging projects such as data centers, solar parks, infrastructure projects and residential construction projects - with an annual design volume of tens of thousands of piles.
