Execution
Following a pile load test and the definition of the embedment criterion, 565 bored piles with a diameter of 60 cm and lengths of up to 10 m were installed.
Design
The design was carried out with the calculation core of piledesigner.io, so that vertical loads of up to 2.5 MN per column are carried safely. On average the vertical loads are 1.7 MN.
Outcome
Efficient site logistics and an output of up to 25 piles per day and rig allowed the project to be completed within just five weeks, a dependable base for the new car park structure at Nuremberg Airport.
